Meet Andrea Edwards

I’ve done a lot of things… 

But it wasn’t until I took a really deep look at what I actually wanted that I began fighting for what I deserved. That’s where the real journey begins. 

Following high school, I took a job as an administrative assistant. It was years before I was able to see any kind of internal growth in an executive position. This was when I realized that in order to get the life I’d been dreaming of I needed to make some savvy shifts in my career trajectory. 

That’s when I started to realize that the skills and talents I’d acquired in administration were exactly the things I needed to pivot into a lucrative and exciting project management role in the IT Industry. 

My first Project Coordinator role helped me obtain the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification that’s carried me into high-level roles in IT Project Management for companies like IBM, Dell, NASA, AARP, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Commerce.

Now, as a career coach, I help other highly ambitious women of color to smash through their internal ceilings and step into their own career greatness.
